Johns Simple CMS
Im just about half way through creating my own version of the great Clesto CMS, which is as you might not know a very easy to setup and manage content management system. My version is quite abstracted from the original in a few ways due to my specific requirements of the system.
I required that the system was more adaptable towards adverts, so that it could easily accommodate three levels of advertising, therefore I decided to give it a column based approach, so the end user simple chooses to show 1-4 columns, this then allows the seperate themes to lay this out as neccessary.
Also I wanted an easy system that allowed the display of relevant RSS news items, this I have done.
Im not at a point where I want to launch this to the general public just yet, but will provide downloads and instructions in the next couple of weeks or so.
