Web Design & Development

All of my Vibrant Web Design Solutions have a distinct look and feel about them, hopefully this is one of high usability, great design and some powerful features. The initial design process usually consists of four main steps.

1. Discuss with client initial ideas and key requirements that project should achieve
2. Create demonstration layouts based on what was discussed in the initial meeting
3. Respond to feedback from demonstration layouts - create new layout based on feedback
4. Design working web ready layout.

Then the development of the project starts in earnest, based on the working ready layout above I then create an administration panel and integrate content management features into the main front end.

The whole process can take one week, or many months basically this depends on how quickly and verbally they can discuss their requirements, obviously if I can discuss with you online via email or messenger than whilst the discussion is progressing small changes to the project can be made almost instantly.  Obviously because I cannot be in my office whilst meeting with you changes then happen usually by the end of the next working day.

I custom build every element of the web project to your specific needs, this enables me to not only create a fantastic web site design that fits completely in with your brand (grand) scheme but also means that the content management is specific to your needs and the learning curve is then obviously much lower than a template based CMS.  In Fact most of my user manuals consist of less than 5 pages including diagrams.

Technologies

Currently I create web sites using PHP 4 or 5 for the server side scripting, my preferred javascript framework is MooTools due to its general greatness and I design all of my graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator and GraphicConverter for the Mac.
